• dl-Methionine & d-Biotin- Numerous studies have been conducted recently on supplementing various vitamins, trace minerals and amino acids to improve hoof quality and rate of hoof replacement. The two most widely accepted supplements for hoof improvement are biotin and dl-methionine.
• Glucosamine- a natural compound that is found in healthy cartilage. Glucosamine sulfate is a normal constituent of synovial fluid. Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that is believed to play a role in cartilage formation and repair.
• MSM- MSM is the short name for a dietary anti-inflammatory supplement known as Methylsulfonylmethane. MSM, like omega 3 and niacinamide are synergistic ingredients for arthritis related joint discomfort due to joint pain, meaning it helps the glucosamine do its job more effectively.
• Chondroitin & Yucca- Chondroitin is a molecule that occurs naturally in the body. It is a major component of cartilage -- the tough, connective tissue that cushions the joints.
